Cisterna portuguesa de Al Jadida, Marruecos. Todavía funciona casi 500 años despues de su construcción. El agua, algo muy importante en un país desértico, y en una ciudad, la mas importante en la costa Atlántica durante mucho tiempo, que ha sufrido sitios y guerras durante toda su historia. Actualmente es un atractivo turístico y se ha utilizado para rodar varias películas, entre ellas Otelo de Orson Welles.

Portuguese water reservoir in Al Jadida, Morocco. It still works almost 500 years after it was built. Water, something very important in a desertic country, and in a city, the most important on the Atlantic coast for centuries, which has undergone wars and sieges all along it's history. Nowadays it's a touristic site, and has been used as a setup for several movies, among them "Othello" by Orson Welles. |
