Atardecer en la bahía de Essaouira. Otra de las antiguas ciudades portuguesas en el Atlántico. En 1494, en Tordesillas, Portugal y España firmaron un tratado. Portugal se quedaba con el mundo al Este del Atlántico, y España el mundo al Oeste. Un poco prepotente visto desde nuestra perspectiva, pero eran tiempos muy, muy diferentes!

Sunset in Essaouira's bay. Another old portuguese city on the atlantic coast. In 1494 Portugal and Spain signed a treaty at Tordesillas. By this treaty Portugal owned everything east of the Atlantic, and Spain everything to the west. A bit overbearing seen from our perspective, but they lived definitely different times! |
