"Pequeño Hawaii", en playa Avellanas, Costa Rica. Cuando hay una marejada del Sur muy grande y viento terral hace honor a su nombre. Si no suele ser una ola tranquila con grandes secciones para giros amplios y fuertes. Poca gente y una zona de take off grande lo hacen un lugar perfecto para gente tranquila. Este no es el caso en el día de la foto, sin embargo.

Little Hawaii, by playa Avellanas, Costa Rica. With a big south swell and off shore winds it does credit it's name. Most days though is a quiet wave with big sections for carving and cutbacks. Not too many people and wide take off area makes it a perfect spot for quiet people. This is not the case the day this photo was taken, though. |
