Esta es la playa de Los Locos, en Suances, Cantabria. El acceso antes era por un caminito de tierra que bajaba el acantilado,
quizás de ahí le venga el nombre. Es uno de las mejores playas de arena del
Cantábrico, con buenos tubos cuando todo cuadra. Esta foto la tomé durante una prueba para el campeonato de España en 2007. Tuvieron suerte y muy buenas olas durante los dos días.

This is Los Locos (the crazy ones) beach, in Suances, Cantabria, Spain. In the past, access was through a steep little trail down the cliff. Maybe that's
where the beach's name comes from. One of the best beach breaks in the Cantabric sea, which
produces good barrels when everything gets together. I took this photo during one of the stops for
Spain's National Championship in 2007. They were lucky and had very good waves for the 2
days it lasted. |
